The original movie proved to be a surprise smash hit, but will animated sequel Sausage Party 2 ever happen? The first Sausage Party was an R-rated comedy that followed some sentient food products, led by a sausage named Frank Seth Rogen , who discover what happens to food once customers take them home from the store. The movie combined filthy, R-rated humor with a Pixar style animated adventure tale. The movie ends before this, but the original ending saw the gang emerge into the real world and seeing Rogen with co-stars Edward Norton and Michael Cera eating at a restaurant. It also would have locked them into an opening scene where the gang immediately find their real-life actors.
